Make Your Blog More Friendly to Google. After talking about SEO technique on yesterday, now I’m gonna share a lil’ information about how to make your blog more friendly to google. Just like a human being, Goole also has something that google like and dislike. Allow me to show you something that google like and dislike.

Design and content that Google like;

  • Sites with a clear layout and use text as links (not pictures). Every page should be reachable with a single static text link.
  • Having a site map that make it easier for the reader. If one site map consist of more than 100 links, then separate it on the other pages.
  • Containing useful information for the reader. write pages in clearly and accurately That DESCRIBE our content.
  • Think about the words users would type to find our pages, and make sure our site actually includes Those words within it.
  • Use text instead of images to explain the name, content, or links. Google crawler does not recognize the existing text in the picture.
  • Ensure accurate title and ALT attributes.
  • Check for the broken/dead links and incorrect HTML code.
  • If you use dynamic pages (ie URL with a “?”, Beware that not every search engine can index dynamic pages. Create a parameter as short as possible and as little as possible.
  • Links on one page less than 100 units.

Things that are prohibited by google;

  • Do not create a different page when it’s viewed by the visitors or search engines (cloaking).
  • Do not use tricks to improve search engine rankings. An easy way to increase ranking in google is to ask ourself: Is our website useful to the visitors?
  • Do not exchange links with the other websites or blogs whose content is not related to our blog or website (link schemes).
  • Do not use automatic tool to submit page, or check page rank, google does not recommend such a WebPosition Gold program.
  • Avoid text or links that do not look lighter (smaller one or the same color as the background)
  • Do not use cloaking or sneaky redirects.
  • Do not use auto submit to search engines.
  • Do not fill our pages with unrelated keywords.
  • Do not create pages, subdomains, or domains with identical content.
  • Do not create a page devoted to phishing, install viruses, trojans, or other badware.
  • Avoid doorway that is only made for search engines.
  • Avoid pages that contain only affiliate programs with little or no original contents .( I should be so Careful for this one L )
  • If our site contains about affiliate program, make sure that our site has added value.
  • Fill out our website with a unique (not copy-paste), fresh and relevant content.

Advice from Google;

  • Provide information needed by visitors with a good quality information.
  • Make sure another website posted a link to our website . In determining the rankings, Google combines the number of links that lead to your website (pagerank) and the content of your website.
  • Create a simple website in terms of navigation. All pages must be connected at least with one text link.
  • Avoid the ” cloaking “or pay for SEO services, which are companies that offer to improve your position on search engines. They usually use many methods that are violated to google’s provision.
