How to Make a Strong Password Tips. Yesterday my brother got a big problem. His email has been hacked by someone. All of the email in the inbox being forwarded to his blogspot blog. He got so angry and annoyed. He used a simple password. Only combination of words. That’s why the hacker got so easy to break down his account. Here, i have a lil’ tips for you to avoid a problem like my brother got.
The basic way that the hackers use to penetrate our account is by guessing passwords. Hackers use a script that can insert dozens of passwords per second for trying to get into our account.These are the ways hackers guessing our password.
- Brute-force attack, by trying all combination, ranging from aaaa to zzzz, until a few characters.
- Dictionary attack, by guessing the use of words in the dictionary, and combined with numbers or characters.
- Personal information attack, by entering personal data such as phone numbers, birth date, name of boyfriend, zip code, etc.
A very weak password would be very easily broken by the hackers. Example of a very weak password such as:
- 123456, qwerty, asdf, because it is an easy combination code for people to try typing on the keyboard.
- password, mypassword, and any other words on the dictionary (all languages).
- date of birth, name of boyfriend or girlfriend, and another personal information.
- use all lowercase letters.
- using a combination of words and numbers, for example techno23, pass55
- replacing letters with characters, eg 10v3 h3r
Try to make the Strong Password:
- Using combination of uppercase, lowercase, numbers and characters.
- More than 10 characters long.
- Does not include the words in the dictionary.
Make the Strong Password that would be easy for you to remember.
Examples of strong passwords: 110v3$100billion ( i love 100 billion cash)
How to remember:
- 1= “I”
- 10v3=”love”
- $=”cash”
I’ve got some tips here:
- DO NOT tell your password to any one! including your parents, brother-sister, best friend even girlfriend or boyfriend. We’ll never know about what will happen next.
- Do not use the same password for different account, such as your email password same with the twitter password. This means:

- someone who can break down your twitter password, can also break down your email password. While in the eyes of hacker hacking twitter passwords is easier than hacking into Yahoo email.
- the admin or “insiders” know twitter password, he can also enter the password to your email.
- Do not click on links in an email that states you must verify your password. This email was sent by hackers.
- Do not enter the site password in addition to providing a service. For example do not put yahoo password in twitter site for any reason (e.g import address book).
- Before you log into an email or something else, make sure the correct URL in your browser. For example mail.yahoo.com not mail.yahoo-ltd.com or yahoo-verify.com or the other.
- For online accounts, such as e-gold, click bank, paypal, you should not type your password via the keyboard (because hackers can read your keyboard with a keylogger program). Use the On Screen Keyboard, Charakter Map, or copy and paste the random letters.
