Blogger Mistakes Related to SEO. SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is the optimization of web pages / blogs in order to have high rankings on Search Engine (eg Google, Yahoo or Bing). The goal is that when visitor type in particular keywords on Search Engine, our web page appears on the top of the search results pages. - Applying Excessive SEO, for example by repeating keywords too much.
- Applying Black Hat SEO, ie Search Engine that is deceiving, for instance with the doorway, cloaks, invisible words (too small or has the same color with the background).
- Following the paid links or Multi-Level Marketing links programs.
- Link to the Blacklist. Before you put a link into your blog, such as a reference or a blogroll, check that page on search engines (Google). If the page does not appears on search engine result pages (SERP), there is the possibility that these page, has been marked to Google’s blacklist. Link to those blacklist pages will cause your page/website/blog get blacklisted as well. Get blacklisted means being removed from search engine.
- Links from the Blacklist. Before conducting the blog campaign by registering to directories or advertisements, make sure the directory is not blacklisted from google, by entering its URL to Google. Links from the blacklist will have a negative impact on SEO (in fact this argument is still controversial).

- URL Forwarding. URL Forwading usually used to abbreviate the URL (such as facilities provided by www.co.nr, www.vze.com). With URL Forwarding, the words in your pages are not indexed, the indexed is the URL and description only.
- Sign up to the directory that is not fair. Actually, It’s about me. I don’t really like the directory that using nofollow or redirect attributes. And the directory that requires us to put backlinks on homepages, this is not fair, isn’t it..?!
